About Me

My name is David I am 27 years old, I work and go to school full-time. I was born in Austin. I have lived here my entire life and I enjoy it immensely. I have spent the last decade working in hospitals. My experience is wide-ranging but limited to adults. According to The Pew Research Center's political ideology quiz, I am a 'Solid Liberal'. Pew informs me that I am joined primarily by women and educated people (I'm not complaining!). My life experiences have been my primary political influences; however, I listen carefully to the experiences of my mentors and peers. I have never campaigned, but I vote when advised to do so by my more savvy friends. I am taking Texas State and Local Government (TX Gov't) because I am obligated to do so; regardless, I intend to learn something important (and by important I mean relevant to me). By academic standards, I failed the Texas General Knowledge and Texas Political Knowledge quizzes. I would consider it fair, given the nature of the material and the quizzes' timing, that the scores were not recorded.
